Press release: Henk Jacobs new General Director of Evanthia
Evanthia, the breeding company from the Dutch Westland region, is off to a good start of the coming new year with the appointment of Henk Jacobs as the company’s new General Director. Starting in January of 2024, Jacobs will reinforce Evanthia’s Board of Directors, consisting of Nico Grootendorst (Director / Owner), Dion Kaman (Chief Financial Officer) and Louis Kester (Commercial Director).
As General Director, Henk Jacobs will be responsible for the daily business operations and leading the Board of Directors and the Management Team of Evanthia. He will oversee the company’s main strategies, to ensure Evanthia is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives.
Henk Jacobs brings almost 40 years of experience across commercial and senior leadership roles within the floriculture industry. Owner of Evanthia, Nico Grootendorst, comments: “We are confident that under Henk’s daily leadership, we will be able to fulfil our ambitions even better in the coming years.
Due to his expertise and achieved results at other leading companies within the field of breeding and propagation, we are convinced that Henk is the right person to lead Evanthia into its next phase.
