Celosia argentea cristata Bar Bossa (Champagne)
Celosia Bar Bossa is a chic variety of high quality. The flower has a fresh green base that turns into a light apricot coloured crest. This elegant play of colours is reminiscent of vibrant champagne tones. Compared to the Act series [link], the production time of Celosia Bar is slightly longer, but you are rewarded with a large comb, a robust plant habit, extremely sturdy stems and a very long vase life. In addition, Celosia Bar is less sensitive to thrips than most other varieties on the market. By planting Bar Bossa in the greenhouse from early spring to late summer and with a cultivation time of 9 to 13 weeks, you can harvest from spring to late autumn. Match with Celosia Bar Bora, a purple beauty of similar quality and design. Both Bar varieties can be grown well together with Celosia Red Ace, a stand-alone variety with a brilliant red comb.
