Cordyline australis Lime Passion

Cordyline australis Lime Passion is a frost-resistant palmate tree, forming a straight upright trunk over time. This decorative, subtropical beauty is adorned with dense clusters of sword-like leaves with a fresh lime to light green colour. The leaves are narrow and arching and have a tough, leathery texture. Cordyline australis is native to subtropical parts of New Zealand, where it grows in coastal areas, along forest edges in high mountain forests and along riverbanks and swamps. It copes well with dry and cold conditions. C. australis Lime Passion is a great, architectural shrub for patio boxes and in gardens. Cordyline australis is also known as Cabbage Palm. Other internationally used names for Cordyline australis are: Cabbage Palm; Cabbage Tree; Giant Dracaena; Giant Dracena; Grass Palm; New Zealand Cabbage Tree; Cabbage Tree; Cabbage Plant; Palm Lily; tī kōuka. Evanthia has Cordyline australis Lime Passion starting material available year-round, as young plants from tissue culture. Ask our team for the Cordyline cultivation manual for commercial production.
