The high quality stems and the uniform crop are characteristic for this series. Barbarella produces long, sturdy stems with big, well-filled, round flower umbels. The different varieties are very uniform in flowering time and have excellent resistance to rust. Dianthus Barbarella needs a cold period to bloom. The series can be planned well and flowers early with high quality flower stems. Plant Barbarella outdoors in early summer and in the greenhouse at the end of the summer until early autumn. This will ensure early flowering in spring and the possibility to harvest for several months in spring.
