Solano® is also available in a fully double variety. Helianthus Solano® Double has pompom-like, fluffy flowers with a green center and is incredibly touchable! The great thing about Solano Double®: thanks to the short cultivation period, you can easily grow this specialty alongside standard varieties, whereas other double varieties on the market often take longer. Helianthus Solano® is a collection of cut sunflowers from Evanthia, featuring incredible flowering power and robust, single-stemmed stalks. By sowing outdoors from early spring to mid-summer and with a short cultivation period of 8 to 11 weeks, these sun-worshippers can be harvested from early summer until late autumn. Thanks to the long stems of 100 to 180 cm and the small top leaves, Solano® is easy to harvest and process. Because the flowers of Helianthus Solano® are pollen-free, the flower centers and petals stay clean, resulting in a longer shelf life.
