Panicum virgatum Fontaine
Panicum Fontaine is an elegant ornamental grass, recognisable by its airy panicles that fan out like a fountain. Plant Fontaine early in the spring until midsummer, for a harvest 8 to 16 weeks later. Due to excellent basal branching, you will harvest many branches per plant. Because of its sturdy long stems with fresh green leaves and excellent vase life, Fontaine is very good to use as a bouquet filler or as a playful ingredient in arrangements.
