Philodendron minima
Philodendron minima, also known as Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, is a climbing Philodendron with a very vigorous growth habit. With heart-shaped, deeply lobed leaves, this tropical foliage plant somewhat resembles a mini Monstera. The leaves are glossy green and highly decorative. Philodendron minima is originally an evergreen perennial from the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia. As a climbing Philodendron, it grows up trees and other plants to break through the canopy toward the daylight. As a houseplant, Philodendron minima is very suitable for hanging baskets. Alternatively, use a moss pole to guide the plant's natural climbing ability and to distribute its weight. Philodendron minima is internationally also known as: Mini Monstera; Dwarf Monstera; Monstera Minima; Philodendron Piccolo. Evanthia has Philodendron minima starting material available year-round, as young plants from tissue culture. Ask our team for the Philodendron cultivation manual for commercial production.
