Philodendron minima

Philodendron minima, a.k.a Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, is a vining Philodendron, with a very vigorous growth habit. With its heart-shaped, deeply cut leaves, this tropical foliage plant looks a bit like a mini Monstera. The leaves are glossy green and very decorative. Philodendron minima is native to Southeast Asia, where it grows evergreen perennial shrub. It climbs and trails in tropical rainforests of Thailand and Malaysia. As a vining Philodendron, it grows up nearby trees and other plants to break through the canopy of leaves, towards daylight. As a houseplant Philodendron minima is great for hanging baskets or trained up a frame or moss pole. Philodendron minima, is commonly known as Mini Monstera or Dwarf Monstera. Other internationally used common names for Philodendron minima are: Monstera Minima, Philodendron Piccolo. Evanthia has Philodendron minima starting material available all year round, as tissue culture young plants. Ask our team for the Philodendron cultivation manual for commercial production.
