For our Tropical division, which specializes in growing young plants and the global trade in seeds, we are looking for an IT Specialist. In an organization where growth is key, IT plays a crucial role. That is why we are looking for someone who ensures the stability, structure and smart optimization of our systems and data.
What are you going to do?
As an IT Specialist, you and our IT partners are responsible for a stable, efficient and future-proof IT environment.
You manage business-critical applications (including our ERP system PAT), translate data into valuable insights and support
colleagues with reliable IT solutions. In addition, you can effortlessly switch between technology and operation and see where processes can be smarter.
Your responsibilities
- Managing, configuring and optimizing essential applications (including PAT)
- Identifying and resolving faults
- Coordinate updates and new releases
- Monitoring continuity and performance
Data & Business Intelligence
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports
- Working with data modeling and ETL processes
- Monitoring and improving data quality
- Increasing data maturity within the organization
Support & process optimization
- Supporting colleagues with hardware and software issues
- Identifying bottlenecks in processes
- Initiating and implementing improvements
- Defining and standardizing procedures
Who are you?
You are an all-round IT Specialist who is technically strong and thinks along functionally.
You feel at home in a practical, production-oriented organization and know how to structure a dynamic environment.
You also have:
- HBO work and thinking level (preferably IT or business administration)
- Experience with application management and IT support
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Oracle databases
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS or Power Automate is an advantage
- An analytical and accurate way of working
- Solution orientation and a proactive attitude
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Affinity with production or horticulture is a plus

Onze divisie Flowers is specialist in het veredelen, ontwikkelen en vermarkten van hoogwaardige snijbloemen en potplanten. De divisie Tropical is gespecialiseerd in het verkopen van jonge tropische kamerplanten die zijn opgekweekt uit zowel weefselkweek als zaad. Met passie en vakmanschap werken wij aan de teelt van producten die wereldwijd hun weg vinden. Voor onze divisie Tropical zoeken wij een stagiair teeltmedewerker.
