Evanthia is a young, fast-growing and ambitious organization with two dynamic divisions: Tropical and Flowers. For our Tropical division, specialist in growing young plants and trading in seeds, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Marketing & Communication Officer. In this position, you contribute visibly to our image in the market and support our sales managers with all kinds of marketing and communication activities.
What are you going to do?
You develop and coordinate all marketing and communication activities for Evanthia Tropical, but you also roll up your sleeves in the implementation yourself. From managing social media channels to creating content and supporting (international) trade shows; you make sure everything looks neat and professional. You switch easily with colleagues from Sales and Marketing, like to work practically and love variety. For cross-division activities, such as trade fairs and the website, we work together with the marketing colleague from the Flowers division.
In addition, you take the initiative to contribute ideas and develop with the Sales Managers in the use of marketing tools such as newsletters, direct mailings and social media advertising via, for example, Instagram and Facebook.
Your activities include:
· Supporting Sales Managers with marketing activities for different regions
· Managing and updating our social media channels and website (CMS)
· Creating and posting content (photos, videos, texts) using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar AI tools
· Setting up and executing social media advertising campaigns and evaluating results
· Implementation of marketing campaigns and reporting of the first results to the Commercial Manager/Sales Team
· Supporting the organization of (international) fairs and events
· Ensuring that all communications are in line with Evanthia's corporate identity and brand identity
· Help develop and maintain marketing materials, such as brochures and newsletters
· Contributions to newsletters, direct mailings and other marketing activities to support our sales activities
Your profile
You are a real go-getter; someone who likes to roll up your sleeves, get energy from variety and enjoy creative communication. You are creative, work organized and know how to get things done. In addition, you feel at home in a dynamic, international work environment. Of course, you have excellent communication skills and you speak and write Dutch and English fluently, other languages are an advantage.
You also have:
- A higher professional education in Marketing, Communication or similar field
- A few years of experience in a marketing or communication environment (preferably B2B or in the green sector)
- Good with social media, CMS systems and image editing
- Experience with tools such as Canva, Capcut, or similar AI/content tools
- Affinity with online advertising and data analysis
- An enthusiastic, flexible and collaborative attitude
