From an average filler to the base of floral arrangements, from the background to the backbone of every bouquet, rustic and robust, the protagonist of all-green bouquets, nature in its most original form and color... Cut green is finally appreciated and is reflected in the most popular and persistent decorative trends. Scandinavian green, loose and organic, neutral and natural styles, exotic and tropical — leaf green is found in almost all major contemporary styles.

Evanthia 12.5 year anniversary
Since its inception, Evanthia has focused on developing distinctive varieties, sourcing tropical seeds and supporting growers worldwide with high-quality cultivation and market knowledge. Through a combination of breeding knowledge, market orientation and close cooperation with customers, the company has built up a strong position within the international floriculture sector in a relatively short period of time.
In recent years, Evanthia has further developed its activities within two specialized divisions: Flowers and Tropical. At Flowers, the company mainly focuses on cut flowers and flowering pot plants from seeds for professional growers. The Tropical division focuses on tropical crops from seed and tissue culture for the production of young green plants and the sale of seeds to pot growers. The organizational focus provided enables Evanthia to further expand the two market segments in a targeted manner.
The company grew in a big way. The team was expanded to include specialists in breeding, product development, sales and marketing. At the same time, Evanthia continued to invest in innovation, international cooperation and the development of new varieties and concepts that meet the needs of growers and the market.
The 12.5 year anniversary is a moment to reflect on the development of the company and the people and partners, including customers and suppliers, who have contributed to it. Throughout the year, Evanthia will pay attention to this at various times, both internally and externally. For example, the anniversary will be celebrated in April with a party for all employees, in addition to other activities and communications.

This morning we were invited to Van Egmond Matricaria to take a look at their new greenhouse.
Congratulations on this milestone and good luck with this beautiful new location!
