In April, Evanthia will celebrate its 12.5 years. What started as an ambitious floriculture breeding company has grown into an international player in seeds and young plants for professional horticulture in just over a decade. With a growing product range, an international customer base and a strong focus on innovation, quality and customer focus, the company continues to develop.

Since its inception, Evanthia has focused on developing distinctive varieties, sourcing tropical seeds and supporting growers worldwide with high-quality cultivation and market knowledge. Through a combination of breeding knowledge, market orientation and close cooperation with customers, the company has built up a strong position within the international floriculture sector in a relatively short period of time.
In recent years, Evanthia has further developed its activities within two specialized divisions: Flowers and Tropical. At Flowers, the company mainly focuses on cut flowers and flowering pot plants from seeds for professional growers. The Tropical division focuses on tropical crops from seed and tissue culture for the production of young green plants and the sale of seeds to pot growers. The organizational focus provided enables Evanthia to further expand the two market segments in a targeted manner.
The company grew in a big way. The team was expanded to include specialists in breeding, product development, sales and marketing. At the same time, Evanthia continued to invest in innovation, international cooperation and the development of new varieties and concepts that meet the needs of growers and the market.
The 12.5 year anniversary is a moment to reflect on the development of the company and the people and partners, including customers and suppliers, who have contributed to it. Throughout the year, Evanthia will pay attention to this at various times, both internally and externally. For example, the anniversary will be celebrated in April with a party for all employees, in addition to other activities and communications.
In doing so, Evanthia expresses her great appreciation to all employees who work for the company every day. Their knowledge, commitment and dedication form an important basis for Evanthia's development in recent years. What started out of ambition, with the motive that flowers and plants contribute to people's well-being, Evanthia wants to continue to promote in the future.
