Asparagus densiflorus 'Cwebe'
Asparagus densiflorus Cwebe is an spiny, shade-loving, subtropical foliage plant. Asparagus densiflorus is native to eastern and South Africa, where it grows as a perennial shrub in dry to moist, shady forests and savanna bushes. Asparagus densiflorus Cwebe can be used as an ornamental houseplant or as filler foliage in cut flower bouquets. It is commonly known as Cwebe asparagus fern or Cwebe emerald fern. Other internationally used common names for Asparagus densiflorus Cwebe are: Asparagus fern; Cwebe basket asparagus; smaragsiervaring; isiqobola, umgcagcazane, uvelabahleke.
